Zion National Park is a southwest Utah nature preserve distinguished by Zion Canyon’s steep red cliffs. Zion Canyon Scenic Drive cuts through its main section, leading to forest trails along the Virgin River. The river flows to the Emerald Pools, which have waterfalls and a hanging garden. Also along the river, partly through deep chasms, is Zion Narrows wading hike. ― Google

Quick, Easy, Delicious Organic Recipe
Let’s face it… Its getting SUPER HOT outside! During our recent trip to Palm Springs, Ca temperatures reached the heights of 115 degrees! So we thought it would be a great idea to share our recipe for the PERFECT cup of iced coffee!
The formula is simple… all you have to do is brew your coffee the night before using our certified organic beans. That way, it can come to room temperature by the time the morning comes around. Now I have personally never been a fan of pouring hot coffee over ice but if it doesn’t bother you, then you can whip this up in the morning – it’s up to you!
Nomadic: Organic Guatemala |
1 cup coffee, at room temperature |
2 tablespoons half and half*, or more, to taste |
|
Homemade Simple Syrup |
|
|
1/2 cup sugar |
1 cup water |
|
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
FOR THE SIMPLE SYRUP |
Combine sugar and 1 cup water in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Let cool completely and stir in vanilla extract; set aside in the refrigerator until ready to serve. |
|
Serve coffee over ice with half and half and simple syrup, adding 1 teaspoon at a time, to taste. |
Cool off with a refreshing iced latte. This simple drink only needs a handful of ingredients and is perfect for a hot weather caffeine kick

Born and Raised: I'm a tossup between San Diego CA, and a very small town in the Rocky Mountains of BC called Windermere. I'm incredibly fortunate to have had my upbringing divided between 2 beautiful places. San Diego teaching me the ways of the beach and best fish tacos, and BC with all its mountains and never-ending trees.
Living: Currently living in the lively city of NYC
What inspires you?: I'm constantly inspired by culture and the natural world. I'm drawn to photograph places like underwater caves, to unheard of villages in Nepal as a way of not just seeing something new for myself, but sharing a place that not a lot of people have the opportunities to see. This planet has an estimated 7.046 billion people living on it, all with different backgrounds, songs, foods, dress, and stories passed down through generations. That's billions of conversations to be had, perspectives to learn, homes to see, and faces to be inspired by. We all share this planet so I feel we should spend more time exploring and understanding it. That in itself is the biggest inspiration.
Favorite Gear to travel with: My underwater housing from Outtex, Gearbox to house all my images on the go, and my workhorse of a camera, the Canon 5D Mark III. I named it "the beast" as its heavy, and sometimes a pain to carry on shoots that require a lot of trekking, but we've been through it all.
Favorite Travel Destination: Oh this is a tough one. I'm going to give 2 as 1 place is never enough. First would be this very small town in Uganda called Bwindi, it rests just outside the impenetrable forest national park. Bwindi is home to the most gracious and smiley people, rolling hills of tea farms, tilapia that I'm getting hungry just thinking about, and some very very good coffee. Secondly would be Mexico City. I have never been to a place so vibrant and full of life as Mexico city. The people will open their homes and are proud to share a meal with someone new. The streets are buzzing with music and art. Not to mention the architecture. Mexico city has a beautiful way of maintaining its older buildings and filling the inside with something entirely different.
Elements for growth: Growth should be a constant thing for every person. I try to push myself out of my comfort zone in one big way at least once a month, whether it be trying a new food, pushing myself to attempt a dino at the rock gym, or even just forwardly putting myself out there as a photographer when trying to land a shoot. You never know what you might miss unless you try it.
Dream Destination: The North and South poles are high on my current list. Its been a dream to photograph narwals and polar bears in their native environments.
Who would win a fight between Spiderman and Batman?: Spiderman 100%, I'm a fan of the bat, but wealth can only get you so far until the powers kick in. Its the true inner drive and power that makes a person great I think. Plus the nerdy underdog who gets a big shot to help people is a plot line id always support.
Couldn’t live without : Coffee, Chapstick, and bug repellent. No matter where I am in the world mosquitos will find me. Maybe that's my superpower, Mosquito Magnet.
Favorite Kind of Day: Rainy days have always seemed to showcase a kind of magic. There's something to be said for mother natures way of washing all the leaves, and making everything still and sparkly again.
Nomadic Coffee Favorite: Organic Peru

Born and Raised: I was born in Marion Ohio but moved around a lot when I was young. From Michigan to Shanghai China to Nebraska I got to meet a lot of different people and was exposed early to different cultures.
Living: Campbell, CA
What inspires you?: Everything from nature and God, to hip hop and art.
Favorite Gear to travel with: My iPhone, Mavic Pro, Canon 5D Mark ii, and my dog Henry.
Favorite Travel Destination: I have so many places yet to go but the Seychelles was pretty incredible.
Elements for growth: Being challenged in my work, receiving creative critique, and seeking out God.
Dream Destination: Mars or the Antennae galaxy.
Who would win a fight between Spiderman and Batman?: Superman…
Couldn’t live with out: My brain or internal organs.
Favorite Kind of Day: A day spent outside in the sunshine with my fiancé, no commitments or deadlines.
Favorite Nomadic Coffee: La Brea Tar Pits is my favorite, dark and smoky like my heart.

@ Nomadic: Nomadic is a beloved and iconic brand but also a brand that we as owners wanted to evolve. We wanted to retain the core element of Nomadic marrying coffee and the arts while sharpening the look. Founder and Co-owner Thomas Landry did a great job building out the purpose and intent of Nomadic so I've been lucky that there's been a strong concept to draw on. My goal from the start was to build a sturdier platform re-thinking the physical specimen of the bag, and the corresponding website and social media outlets. Now we have a foundation to move forward with poetry, photography, and interviews. The whole team at Nomadic is so excited. Its almost embarrassing to say but we feel giddy, like we are on a great adventure that is just starting. Plus we have no boss!

Its wide body and rugged good looks is a sight to behold. The rich military-green coat and hot white back-roof elevates 70’s character while still maintaining a modern appeal. The Scout II features 6.0-liter GM V8 crate motor; likely the Vortec L96 good for at least 360 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. It also has a GM 4L60-E four-speed automatic transmission and a Dana 300 transfer case.
This amazing remastered Scout II will be featured and sold in the RM Sotheby’s Auction in Arizona later this month. Its has been speculated that this model will sell to avid car collectors for anywhere between $70-90,000 USD on January 18th. For more information on the auction please review the information below.

]]>As people are searching for alternative living situations and watching tv shows such as Tiny House, Big Living on HGTV. Many new modern architects have taken notice and are now designing homes for this new heroic nomad. the best of which have been collated in Philip Jodidio’s new book Nomadic Homes: Architecture on the Move, published by Taschen.
Philip Jodidos creative architectural book features a wide variety of mobile dwellings ranging from revamped Airstreams, wheeled cabins, yachts and even private jets. One of the key takeaways from this book is how technological advances have opened up the horizon for those looking to take their homes on the road and live differently.
Nomadic Homes shows how architects and designers are building creative solutions to a raft of modern preoccupations – escape, exploration, environmentalism, urbanization, disaster response, limited space and reduced resources.
