We are always looking for the ultimate gear, vehicle or partner to take with us on our adventures. Well its safe to safe we can look no further than the remastered International Scout II. Originally produced by International Harvester in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the Scout II has been revised to be a serious modern off-roader while retaining its vintage 1970’s appeal.
Its wide body and rugged good looks is a sight to behold. The rich military-green coat and hot white back-roof elevates 70’s character while still maintaining a modern appeal. The Scout II features 6.0-liter GM V8 crate motor; likely the Vortec L96 good for at least 360 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. It also has a GM 4L60-E four-speed automatic transmission and a Dana 300 transfer case.
This amazing remastered Scout II will be featured and sold in the RM Sotheby’s Auction in Arizona later this month. Its has been speculated that this model will sell to avid car collectors for anywhere between $70-90,000 USD on January 18th. For more information on the auction please review the information below.
